  • The AEX Rising Star National Showcase is a premier invite-only event designed to highlight the nation's top underclassmen male and female football athletes. It serves as a platform for potential future AEX All-Americans.

  • Athletes who are high school underclassmen (Grades 9-11) are eligible. Both male tackle football players and female flag football athletes are welcome.

  • Selection to the AEX Rising Stars and Flag Rising Stars National Combine is a prestigious honor earned through performance, potential, and character.
    Our scouts, in partnership with Expo Recruits, evaluate over 20,000 athletes annually through film, combine results, verified stats, and leadership qualities on and off the field.

    All AEX Combine evaluations are hosted by our official partner, SAC Showcase, and serve as the primary path to Bowl Week invitations.

    Due to the high volume of talent nationwide, we are not able to see every deserving athlete—so if you know someone who should be considered, we welcome nominations!

  • No. All participants must receive an official invitation after being nominated and approved by the AEX selection committee.

  • AEX ALL-AMERICAN BOWL – INJURY & PLAYER AVAILABILITY POLICY

    The health and safety of all athletes participating in the AEX All-American Bowl is our highest priority.

    In the event an athlete suffers an injury during their school season or prior to Bowl Week that prevents safe participation, the athlete and parent/guardian must notify AEX immediately and provide appropriate medical documentation from a licensed physician.

    Athletes unable to participate due to verified injury will remain recognized as official AEX All-Americans. Depending on timing and circumstances, athletes may be eligible for:

    • Honorary recognition during Bowl Week

    • Future AEX event consideration

    • Partial event credit or approved refund consideration

    • Non-contact participation opportunities if medically cleared

    To maintain roster balance and event operations, AEX reserves the right to replace unavailable athletes with alternate selections at any time.

    Please note:

    • Deposits are non-refundable

    • Custom apparel, uniforms, and production costs are non-refundable once ordered

    • Approved refunds or credits are determined on a case-by-case basis

    AEX is committed to supporting athletes and families while preserving the integrity and operations of the event.

  • The Rising Star Showcase will be held in Charlotte, North Carolina at Corvian Community School Stadium. Charlotte, NC is home to the Carolina Panthers. Specific details will be shared with selected athletes and made public closer to the event.

  • Yes, College coaches will be on site. While NCAA rules vary, film and data from the event are shared with over 600+ college programs nationwide. In addition, media outlets and recruiting platforms will cover the event.

  • Yes! Female athletes will compete in combine testing, 1-on-1 filmed matchups, 5v5 flag formats, and receive evaluations from elite coaches and scouts. Ladies also have an opportunity to attend the AEX Flag All-American Bowl.

  • Athletes should bring cleats, compression gear, and personal hygiene items. AEX will provide uniforms and performance gear. A full checklist will be provided before the event.

  • Yes, portions of the event will be recorded and livestreamed nationally, offering additional exposure for athletes.

  • Athletes will receive evaluations, and top performers may be invited to compete in future AEX Bowl events. All participants join the AEX National Watch List (Grades 9–11), shared with over 200 college programs nationwide. Top performers may also be considered for future AEX Bowl Week invitations.
